  FUNDRAISING

HART has been generously supported by NuSkin International, WHO, the Center for Disease Control and LDS Charities. HART conducts two main areas of fund-raising events each year. These events are also used to increase community awareness and involvement:

Local Events-

Potential fundraisers endeavors will be conducted through the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee. Any local community undertaking will be carried out by the chapters themselves.

National Events-

Public Awareness Campaigns-

Public Awareness Campaigns goal is to make a target audience aware of the efforts that HART undertakes.

Civic Donations-

Personal monetary donations will be collected through Board Members, Executive Committee, and individual Chapters. These funds will be given to, and managed by the executive director, and monitored by the Board. Personal material donations will be gathered by every organization in HART and will be administered by the Executive committee.

Corporate Donations-

Cooperate monetary donations will be collected from Board Members, Executive Committee, and individual Chapters. These funds will be given and managed by the executive director, and monitored by the Board. Corporate material donations will be collected by any of HART's committees and will be administered by the executive committee.

Grants-

Research, educational developmental grants will depend mainly on the type of project that HART is currently undertaking. Most grants will be small. HART is always interested in diversifying its focus and if an opportunity to help is there HART will proceed.

Perpetual Funding-Philanthropy-

Philanthropy will be important to establish many of the mobile surgical units. This type of donation will be handled by the executive committee and will be sought after by all Board Members, and Executive committees.
